Andreas Christensen returns to training for Barcelona
Andreas Christensen was the standout figure as FC Barcelona resumed training today at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, following a short rest period.

The Danish defender, who missed Sunday's session after feeling unwell and being allowed by coach Hansi Flick to stay home, returned to the pitch in preparation for the weekend's La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano at Vallecas.
Christensen, whose contract with Barca runs until 2026, is determined to earn more minutes under Flick. He featured in the closing stages of the recent victory over Levante, coming on for Ronald Araujo and helping to secure the result in a back three alongside Eric Garcia and Pau Cubarsi.
With Inigo Martinez departing earlier this summer, Flick is said to value Christensen's composure and vision in possession, qualities that could prove increasingly vital this season.
The 28-year-old's return to form comes at a promising time. He has also been recalled to the Danish national team, ending a 14-month absence from international duty.
His availability is a boost for Barcelona, who are aiming to extend their perfect start to the season.
The Blaugrana have taken two wins from two matches and are targeting a third consecutive victory before making their first home appearance of the campaign.
Not all of Flick's squad were present at training, however. Goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and youngster Marc Bernal were absent, leaving minor gaps in preparations.
