Vietnamese player Levi retires from League of Legends esports

The veteran jungler revealed his decision in a video released on his birthday, confirming that he had been contemplating stepping away from the professional scene for quite some time.

Over the past decade, Levi established himself as one of the most respected figures in Vietnamese esports. His achievements include an impressive haul of ten domestic VCS titles and a gold medal at the 31st SEA Games, cementing his status as a key figure in Vietnam's rise within the regional League of Legends landscape.

He also represented the country on multiple occasions at MSI and Worlds, though he expressed regret at not being able to guide a Vietnamese organisation to significant international success.

Health concerns played a notable role in his decision, with Levi revealing persistent stomach problems and, more recently, issues with his right hand.

However, the driving force behind his retirement centres on family. Levi spoke of wanting to spend more time with his parents and shared that he is considering starting a family of his own.

Although stepping away from competition, Levi will not be leaving the community he helped shape. He plans to transition into streaming and aims to build a career as a full-time content creator.

He has also left the door open to co-stream official matches in the future, ensuring his presence will continue to be felt within the Vietnamese League of Legends scene.
