Cloud9 Kia and Team Liquid to face off in exciting ARAM showmatch

The event will take place directly after their official League of Legends LTA North Split 3 match and promises a light-hearted twist as players from both organisations will compete in mixed teams on the ARAM (All Random All Mid) game mode.

This showmatch follows the competitive clash between the two sides in Round Three of the ongoing Split 3, which runs from 26 July to 7 September.

The top eight teams in the region are battling for spots in the LTA Championships and the prestigious 2025 World Championship.

Cloud9 Kia have been the standout team so far in Split 3, dominating the Pick and Play Phase with emphatic 2-0 victories over LYON and Dignitas.

Meanwhile, Team Liquid are aiming to improve on their consistent, yet unfulfilled, results from earlier in the year.

They finished 4th in both Splits 1 and 2, failing to qualify for either the Esports World Cup or Mid-Season Invitational.

Cloud9 Kia, who rebranded earlier this year after a high-profile partnership with Kia America, enjoyed a strong Split 1 by finishing 2nd and reaching the Cross Conference semi-finals, where they lost 2-1 to Team Liquid. They later placed 11th at the EWC and earned $50,000 in prize money.
