Team Falcons soar to victory at ALGS Open after stunning comeback
The ALGS Open delivered high-stakes action as 160 teams battled through a grueling double elimination format, but it was Team Falcons who emerged victorious in dramatic fashion.

Led by Apex Legends veterans Phillip 'ImperialHal' Dosen, Rhys 'Zer0' Perry, and Ben 'Wxltzy' Walton, Team Falcons spent much of the tournament in the Elimination Bracket, clawing their way back against the odds.
After a series of must-win matches, they fought through to reach the Winner's Bracket Finals, proving their resilience.
The grand finals followed the Match Point format, and Team Falcons hit Match Point in Game 6 - then immediately closed out the tournament with a dominant performance. Their rapid six-game victory stunned fans and sealed their place among the elite.
Their triumph earned them the ALGS trophy, a hefty $300,000 prize, and a direct slot in the upcoming Midseason Playoffs, alongside the tournament's top five teams.
Despite the win, ImperialHal voiced criticism of the tournament's structure, particularly the extensive number of games required in the Loser's Bracket. His comments have reignited discussion around the format's fairness and its toll on players.
