Team Falcons end title drought with FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 triumph
Team Falcons delivered a statement victory at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, storming through the lower bracket to secure the $125,000 grand prize and end their nine-month title drought in style.

The Saudi-backed Middle Eastern powerhouse had not lifted a trophy since DreamLeague Season 24 in November 2024, but roared back to form just days before The International 2025 (TI14).
The Falcons' run was nothing short of dominant. After being knocked to the lower bracket, they eliminated TI14 favourites Team Liquid with a commanding 2-0 win in the final.
They then faced Team Spirit in the grand final, a side that entered the clash unbeaten following a 4-0 group stage record and an upper bracket victory over Liquid. Falcons, however, showed no mercy, sweeping Spirit 3-0 to claim the championship.
For a team that once enjoyed a long stretch of dominance in 2024 before falling into a slump, this triumph has revitalised their reputation.
More than just a trophy, it was a statement: Falcons are back among the elite and ready to challenge for the biggest prize of all.
The timing of the win could hardly be more significant. As the final tier-one Dota 2 event before TI14, Falcons' performance sends a clear warning to the rest of the field.
With restored confidence and momentum, they now look like one of the most dangerous contenders heading into Seattle.
