T1 Esports coach previews LoL Worlds final against KT Rolster
T1 Esports head coach Kim 'kkOma' Jeong-gyun is feeling confident ahead of their 2025 League of Legends Championship Grand Final against rivals KT Rolster.
t1-esports16After nearly a month of competition, it comes down to this: T1 face off against KT Rolster in a Best of Five series for the ultimate glory. The teams are set for battle on Sunday, 9 November at Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multi-Purpose Gymnasium in Chengdu, China.
kkOma is not overawed by the spectacle and is positive that T1 will do it their way: through trust.
"Matches against KT are always special," said kkOma.
"We've been rivals for a long time, and it's a matchup fans always look forward to. Meeting in the final shows just how well both teams have played this season. Rather than treating it as a rivalry game, we're preparing for it as a stage where we'll give our all against a truly strong team right to the end.
"Ultimately, T1 reached the final thanks to the individual efforts of the players and the teamwork built on trusting one another. If we want that to carry us to the title, it's important we keep that going to the very end. We'll stay focused, and we'll do it our way.
"Of course we'll be thorough in our prep on the opponent, but above all we're focusing on a plan that maximises our own strengths. We're paying attention to everything from conditioning to mental readiness so the players can walk on stage in peak form."
