G2 and Hanwha Life Esports advance to Worlds 2025 quarterfinals
Round four of the 2025 League of Legends World Championship Swiss Stage saw G2 Esports and Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) secure spots in the knockout stage.

G2 defeated FlyQuest in a tense three-game series. After dropping the first game, G2 evened the series and won a thrilling final match filled with nonstop teamfights, objectives, and back-and-forth action.
The victory marks the first time in three years that an LEC team has reached the Worlds quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Hanwha Life Esports overcame CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) 2–0. Despite early pressure from CFO in both games, HLE's superior coordination and teamfighting, led by Zeka's standout performance, allowed the LCK team to turn the series around and advance.
Both series highlighted the intensity and unpredictability of the Swiss Stage format, and with the knockout stage approaching, fans can expect even more action-packed matches as the remaining quarterfinal spots are decided.
