The Turkish roster overcame Brazilian outfit Legacy in the final map of the best-of-five series to lift the trophy.

Aurora Gaming's path to the Playoffs was anything but straightforward, requiring all five rounds of the Swiss Stage to secure qualification.

Early wins over Fnatic and Team Liquid put the team on the cusp of advancement, but losses to HEROIC and SAW soon placed them on the edge of elimination.

A 2-1 triumph over Astralis in the final Swiss Stage match confirmed Playoff participation for a squad that has shown flashes of brilliance across tier-one events in 2025.

In the quarterfinals, Aurora Gaming's clash with B8 extended to all three maps, with a dominant 13-3 win on Overpass sealing the 2-1 series victory. Momentum carried into the semifinals, where a convincing 2-0 sweep of GamerLegion set up a Grand Final showdown with Legacy, winners of the CS Asia Championship 2025.

The Grand Final began in Aurora Gaming's favour, with strong defensive performances on Dust II and Mirage granting them a two-map advantage. Legacy fought back in dramatic fashion, taking Train in double overtime to stay alive.

Legacy continued their offensive surge on Inferno, securing a 13-8 win and forcing the series to a decisive Nuke.

With an 11-8 lead midway through the second half, Legacy appeared poised for a comeback, but Aurora Gaming dug deep, overturning the deficit to take the map 13-11 and clinch the 3-2 series win.

The triumph at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 represents Aurora Gaming's first major CS2 trophy, following a runner-up finish at the Esports World Cup, where they fell to The MongolZ in the Grand Final.
