16-year-old CS2 sensation MaiL09 sets new FACEIT ELO record
Liam 'MaiL09' Tügel, a 16-year-old Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) player, has reached the highest ELO rating ever recorded on the esports platform FACEIT.

Having climbed to the very top of FACEIT's global leaderboards on September 2nd, MaiL09 has cemented his status as one of the platform's most promising talents. His record-breaking performance puts him on track to become the youngest-ever FACEIT champion.
Since his debut on FACEIT in 2021, MaiL09 has played more than 3,700 matches, sustaining a 45% win rate over the last four years.
Should he finish the current FACEIT season atop the leaderboards, MaiL09 would surpass numerous established professionals on the platform.
