Test captain Shubman Gill recalled to India T20I squad for upcoming Asia Cup
Test skipper Shubman Gill has been recalled to India's T20I squad for the upcoming Asia Cup and has been appointed at the team's vice-captain.

Suryakumar Yadav will lead the 15-man squad that includes top-order batters Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson while Gill replaces Axar Patel as Suryakumar's deputy.
The middle and lower-order batting options are Suryakumar, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma while the allrounder slots are filled by Axar, Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube.
Jasprit Bumrah will spearhead the specialist bowling options alongside Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy and Harshit Rana.
There was no place in the squad for Yashasvi Jaiswal but the batter has been named in a reserve list that includes Prasidh Krishna, Washington Sundar, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel.
India are in Group A along with Pakistan, Oman and UAE with their Asia Cup campaign kicking off against UAE in Dubai on 10 September.
